Yesterday's class was so special
What holds us back from trying?
Fear... not being good enough.
But what if you did it anyway?
Made the mistakes?
Allowed your body to get it "wrong" so it could discover what's right?
If we don't give ourselves the chance- we never arrive.
The freedom to say, "Who gives a f$%k-I'm gonna do it!"
That's what I felt yesterday.
I felt so much joy dancing.
Like I was 10 years old again in my living room, putting on a show.
The little Adri that just LOVES to dance.
My samba isn't "perfect"-and I could waste a lot of time comparing myself to others (and trust me, I've done it).
It only sucked the joy out of my dance, out of my life.
But yesterday was different.
To see everyone in that room, all with different experiences, just going for it, saying "I got this!"-it was so inspiring.
It's really special to be able to share art, to bring people together, and to remind ourselves to feel.
